Welcome to Stone Town Collectibles
I've been collecting comic books for over 40 years, and in recent times, I've shifted my focus to selling them. That's when the idea of Stone Town Collectibles came to life. Initially, it was a way for me to bond with my son over our shared interest in Pokémon Cards, but it has grown to include various trading cards, comic books, and Funko Pops! The plan is to eventually hand over the reins to my son once he's off to college, but that's a few years down the line. He's the reason I got into Anime and Pokémon in the first place.
What's Stone Town Collectibles all about? It's my attempt at creating a virtual space that captures the essence of your favorite local comic book and collectible store. My aim is to build a community of subscribers who can access the latest comics, trading cards, and Funko Pops! (and maybe statues) on a weekly basis.
My collecting journey goes beyond just comics – I've got a collection of trading cards from Marvel, Pokémon, Akora, and more. Taking this hobby seriously led me to be able to be part of CGC’s Trading Card Academy, as well as their Comic Book Grading Academy and to become an Authorized Dealer of CGC, which is more than just a title; it reflects my commitment to the craft.
One of the best parts of the past couple year has been connecting with incredible people who share my interests. Looking ahead, I'm excited about the prospect of meeting even more like-minded individuals.
